Virtual Hook-in!

On Saturday, April 11th at 1:00, nine members of Saint Henri met on Zoom for a hook-in. At Kathleen's invitation (Thank you for organizing that!)  Helen, Dayna, Yannick, Carolyn, Margaret, Maureen, Leslie and I  logged on. It was somewhat challenging for some of us less computer savvy but most of us managed it. We thought we would have only 40 minutes but we only logged off at 3:00. Retreat Feb. 15 and 16, 2020

What a wonderful weekend! What made it special was the gathering of members guilds from not only Montreal but also from the Ottawa area. Present were members of St Henri, Beaconsfield, Old Forge and Burris Falls (hope I didn't miss any!). There were hours of talking, laughing, sharing, consultation, encouragement, admiration and we did hook as well. It was a great success. Thanks to Loretta, Isabelle and Jacques for vending their fabulous wares! Carol P. sent me some photos of Saturday evening - the view from the dining room. Enjoy the photos!

Reminder of Dates for 2019-2020

Some confusion...... As there seemed to be some confusion about this month's hook-in I am posting the 2019-2020 dates again. Yes, on two months we meet on the 3rd Saturday due to holidays....so watch the dates! St Henri Meeting Dates 2019 – 2020 September 14, 2019 October 19 (3rd week due to Thankgiving!) November 9 December 14 January 11, 2020 February 8 March 14 April 18 (3rd week due to Easter!) May 9

Time to think about the 2020 St Henri Retreat at the Ermitage!   The date is set - February 15th and 16th, The price is set - same as last year...$120 for overnight including meals & accommodation and $25 for the Saturday only including lunch. Flyer and information will be distributed at the next St Henri Hook-in on October 19th. After that date the invitation will be sent out to Beaconsfield, Olde Forge, and Martintown. You have until December 14 to commit! Please start looking over your stash and treasures for the paper bag auction and door prizes. Your contributions are very appreciated!

September 14th

Today was our first hook-in of the year! A small group gathered to open the 2019-2020 season. The members who signed up today received a Tapissiers de Saint Henri Rug Hookers Members card and a beautiful little croctehed heart made by our own Yanick. We had a small but great launch to the year. Welcome to a new member, Leslie!
